Yes. The installed app includes the national map, place search, routing data, metro timetables and Kapi’s stories. Even the first preparation can happen without a connection. Map updates and external websites need internet. GPS guidance needs a usable location signal; speech uses voices installed on your phone.
The current Android preview package is about 1.07 GB. The app expands its map and routing data during the first preparation, so keep several GB free and allow a few minutes. Leave extra room for updates.
The app works in English and Korean. Search with either language, see Korean place names, and copy a name or address when you need it. Open-data coverage varies, so some places may be easier to find by their Korean name.
Walking, cycling and driving routes are calculated on your phone. The metro planner uses stored timetables for Seoul lines 1–9 and Busan lines 1–4. Buses, other rail networks, live arrivals, live traffic and live closures are not included.
Kapi is our fictional capybara companion. His stories are original writing, with historical facts drawn from linked public sources. They are not customer reviews or claims that Kapi visited a place. Your memories are yours to record.
No account is required. Your searches, routes, collections and notes stay on your device. The app has no advertising or analytics SDK. You can export and restore your journal yourself.
